Singapore trip day 2

Howdy! HAPPY LEAP DAYYYYY BTW! Such a historical day, I mean hey Leonardo Di Caprio winning an Oscar FINALLY. Yeap a start of a good year. You must been wondering why do I like always blog irregular hours, this is cause I normally sleep around 4am to 6am lul I just can't sleep early and I don't know whaaaai :( So let's continue on the Singapore trip today! Day 2, jomz ( means come join me in Bahasa Melayu heheh ), oh and as I am writing, I am playing  this song Waterbed by The Chainsmokers; super chill song!

So day 2! Let's begin with breakfast. My mum, sister and I went to a Chinese coffee shop that we saw yesterday nearby our hotel and oh boy, the food is good! The price is pretty reasonable too and let me tell you, their portion are way too generous as you can see from the picture below *points* Unfortunately, I can't recall what is their shop name but it is somewhere near the 5 foot way inn hotel, like seriously near, walking distance about 3 minutes I think?

Next, next we head to the MRT again cause its like so convenient, duh, we took it to Raffles Place MRT cause that is like the nearest station to Merlion side I think? And we don't mind walking as we were too eager to see all those places. So when we came out from the MRT, we were surrounded by buildings and more buildings. We asked a few residents and thank goodness it wasn't that far. We walked pass many many buildings and at last, WE SAW THE SEA FROM FAR HAHAH. Imagine us with tears of joy please. We then walked to the Customs House and it was closed but I think they weren't opened yet? But the place was damn coooool! I really love the location of the place and it was literally on the sea or river? HAHAH FORGIVE ME for my geographical knowledge. There were many sailboats, like it was too picturesque dy, how to resist?

Then we proceed walking and snapping photos being oh so touristy. AND we finally saw Marina Bay Sands..... from a distance HAHAHA. This means more pictureeeeees!

and walked more! We even saw a few amazing buildings as we were walking.

Actually its quite amazing la cause we were walking so much! Under the heat samo! And from the pictures you could visibly see the MBS building is getting nearer and nearer HAHAHA. If only I can gain money from every step I take HAHAHAH, I will be a bilionaire muahahah. Okay jokes aside. LAME IKR HAHAHA. So we continued walking. I am so sorry for the 'continuous walking' post cause most of the time we were really walking! And not to mention, armpits were sweating HAHAHHA.

Oh yesh! Due to the continuous walking session, we were so exhausted and like we had enough of walking *drama abit*. We went to the Starbucks in The Fullerton Waterboat House to refresh and dry my armpit HAHAH OH NO I AM SO EMBARRASSED but it was literally soaking from sweat okay! Lesson learnt, no matter how much deodorant you sprayed, your armpit will still be wet. Sorry for the gross-ness hahah. Once we reached, we ordered each of us a drink. I got myself an orange smoothie?? I forgotten what is it called SORRYYY. But the taste was just meh.

We rested quite a while in there and it was about 2pm plus? The sun was way too bright, nope there was just no way we wanna get out from that air-conditioned placeeeee. I even almost fall asleep, proved that I was too tired! If I was not mistaken, we walked about like 10km already! SERIOUS. After resting like an hour, we continued our journey! AND WE FINALLY SAW THE ICONIC MERLION! But at that time it was really crowded with tourists and we didn't manage to get any good shots cause there are people constantly photo-bombing you :( So my mum, sis and I went other places to sight see first lulz.

Somehow, the crowd disappeared when we returned! SO MAGICAL. Or... probably the weather was blazing hot. Whatever the reasons were, it was a good thing for us HAHAH. One person gain is one person loss right, I think? HAHAH.

We then walked and somehow we reached to the more city side. There were buildings around la basically. Its really convenient to think of it! Most of the places of attractions are connected! Another reason to be in love with Singapore. 

Oh and we even went to Esplanade, didn't take much photos there tho.

To be honest, there were many pictures but I didn't include them cause I looked like crap in most of the photos HAHAH SORRY LA. Try walking in Singapore with the sunny weather and I bet you will feel the same to the point that you are too lazy to be in the photos yourself HAHAH. Okay I shall let the photos do the talking hehehe.

The Parliament House!

From Parliament House, we walked pass Clarke Quay and Funan Digitalife Mall heading to Chijmes located at Victoria Street (pronounced as chimes). Chijmes is a former convent & school, but like now they use the place for houses restaurants, bars & event space. Pretty creative with what they make use of the space.

After being amazed with Chijmes, we went to the mall opposite it which is Raffles City, just one minute walk away. Cross the road and wala! You reach heheh. IMAGINE HOW HAPPIE WAS I TO ENTER AN AIR-CONDITIONED PLACE AFTER LIKE 5 HOURS SINCE STARBUCKS?? THANK GOODNESS FOR THE ARMPIT AGAIN HAHAH SORRY FOR MY WEIRDNESS. Oh! We then have dinz dinz at the food court, budget ma.

We literally stuffed ourselves with food or maybe it was just me HAHHAHAH as we were too hungrehhhh. My sister had to drag me out from my seat cause I was just too lazy to move. Continuing from the journey once again, next stop, Garden By The Bay and Marina Bay Sands! We took the City Hall MRT station to Bayfront station as it is connected to the Garden By The Bay. Just walk along the path and you'll somehow reach. Easy pieeee.

Gardens By the Bay is seriously beautiful. Everything about it is just fascinating and breathtaking. I was really really dumbfounded by the beauty and peacefulness. Not exaggerating at all okay. OH and its a perfect dating spot too heheheheh for all those lovebirds out there. Nevertheless, I felt so so blessed to be able to experience this with my mum and sister <3 oh oh and oh! Do make sure you stay for the their night orchestra show. OMG TOO AMAZING THE PERFORMANCE. The big trees ( I think its a tree??) will light up and like music from orchestra will be playing omg I don't know what I mumbling already hahah. Just make sure you stay for the night performance la!

We then went Marina Bay Sands to see how was it inside. You can walk from Gardens to the MBS, very close no worries!

I actually did not take much pictures inside MBS cause my camera's battery was like dying. Explore, explore, explore. Never went in the casino though :( OH WELLL. We sat and enjoyed the laser show first and like then immediately went to caught the train.

OH WAIT. Let me tell you. I encountered something damn scary in the MRT station on my way back (seriously I dont know what is with my luck with all these kind of things). I was alone at the station la, cause my mum and sis went to grab something. I didn't follow cause like my feet was in crazy pain from the new sandals I bought yesterday la. As I was waiting, there was this guy who kept looking at me, I was like can you back off ah. So then he approached me and like he asked me to follow him WTCRAP??? I was so terrified that I dashed to a place where there was more human beings hahah. Then he still stared at me and like when my mum and sis came back, I quickly asked them take another train cause like when I entered, he entered! SIBEH ( means: very ) SCARY OKAY. Like hellooooo??? You stare what stare, keep your eyes to yourself lor. Thank goodness he didn't like followed us. Phewwwwww!
